sketches of my new packaging design

CocaCola
I came up with a new name being Kermits CraoakaCola. I looked at other similar products such as Pepsi and Dr Pepper and generic brands. I decided to use aspects from the CocaCola and the Pepsi design with adding my one elements

Always Fresh Olives
For this product I decided to try and make a new design that made the product more interesting but still keeping traditional aspects of the product. I came up with a colour scheme that is similar of a olive tree. The new products name 'Grove Fresh' had olive branches branching from the text.

Jeeny's Palm Sugar
With this product i tried to design it more calmly then the original so it wasn't so in your face. This product is something that is new to many people and I think having such a loud design would make people less likely to try it.  I kept the aspects of having the clear film so consumers can see what the product is. I changed the Name to Tommys, i Just think it sounds a bit more friendlier.

Products

Jeeny's oriental foods- Palm Sugar

 Strong Design elements:
  •  appropriate colours for and oriental food, looks exotic
  • clearly shows what the products buy have a clear plastic film part which is important for people that aren't familiar with the product
Weak Design elements:
  • The logo isn't very aesthetically pleasing
  • The Font could be larger

Always Fresh- Olives (Kalamata- Pitted)

 Strong Design elements:
  •  Looks traditional, and shows a nice picture of the olives
  • The green around the olive variant shows the consumer clearly if it is the variety of olive they are looking for
Weak Design elements:
  • It's a bit bland in design, not very exciting
  • Doesn't stand out
  • to much emphasis on the brand, rather then the product itself

CocoCola
 Strong Design elements
  • simple: clearly shows the well known brand
  • aesthetically pleasing
  • the bottle isn't plain has a nice design to it
 Weak Design elements
  •  the text has no depth
