Future Poster

I kept with a common theme to this poster. The ideas behind this work was just using geometric shapes and using negative space and cut outs to display form. This poster depicts things that i would be interested to do in the future. I made the continuation in this poster by making the text the focal point then the objects coming off that. I used a bright green contrasting with a dark gray throughout the image with a very light gray back ground to display negative space. I think these colours are balance and the layout of the poster delivers the intended information.

Story Book- Spreads

In this spread I kept the illustration simple but clear. The type is adequate size and is positioned in way that is easy to read for the child. Subtle shadow is placed throughout the image to add a little bit of depth.

In this spread I created the image to be bright and happy to keep with the theme of sharing. Again the image has subtle shadows and the type is kept the same.

Bobby and Jack

1. Bobby likes to go swimming.

2. Jack likes to roll down the hill.

3. Bobby and Jack like to play tag.

4. Bobby and Jack like to ride on Buster’s back.

5. Jack likes to roll in the mud with Pablo.

7. Bobby likes to go skydiving.

8. “Look at Bobby go” said Jack.

9. Bobby likes to share his chicken feed with Jack.

11. Bobby and Jack like to go exploring.

12. Jack doesn’t like it when they get lost.

13. Jack calls Buster and Buster finds them.

14. “Be careful next time,” said Buster.

About My CD Design

My CD's genre is hip hop so I wanted to keep an urban style to the design. I researched other Australian hip hop CD 's and there were a number that showed a illustrated design rather then a photograph. I made my CD have the same theme throughout it using abstract buildings and an urban landscape. The colours in my design were to suit the urban theme by using grays and yellow. All the elements in this CD are original and created my me.
