the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence

Description

My understanding of the saying "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" is that no matter what happens there is always a silver lining and something better to come.

This image depicts a bombed scene that has destroyed a community. There is a brighter more inviting place background to with contrast the foreground. This image is to show there is always a better place after something goes wrong. I created this contrast by using a grey scale foreground, with the only colours used being red to show how desperate the situation is. The background differs from the foreground because it is vibrant and inviting.

The idea behind this image was to show both the literal and metaphoric meaning behind this quote.
